The more I use SQL Data Services, the more I appreciate it’s potential. Thus far, it’s a great technology, and I believe my team will be ready to go live with services based around it as soon as Microsoft goes live with this service.
Some queries are pretty easy to figure out--if you can handle some LINQ style querying.
from e in entities
where e.Kind == "ObjectType"
where e["FieldName"] == "value"
However, at this point, resources are difficult to come across. Bleeding edge of technology, blah blah blah. Anyone know how to do a "Starts With" query in SDS? In SQL it'd look something like this:
WHERE FieldName LIKE 'a%'
Here's Microsoft's documentation on SDS Query Format: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc512409.aspx
I'll let you know if I find anything.
